LoOks like it’s a tough time ahead for Yamaha, after witnessing the response to R15 Honda has also decided to launch their 150cc super sports in India.
Honda plans to launch their CBR 150 before mid 2009, It’s going to be a 4 stroke 150cc bike with a top speed of around 155 kmph, acceleration 0 – 60 in approx 3 seconds. . .and thats surely a hot news for Honda Fan’s.
Yamaha has made some name from it’s latest beasts i.e. Fz and R15, both of these bikes have a made a mark on Indian Roads, on the other corner Honda with it’s CBF stunner had already crashed the market of Yamaha’s gladiator SS/RS and now with the Thought of CBR coming around it’s likely to disturb yamaha sales.More over Bajaj and Kawasaki are making their move to introduce Ninja which is going to be a bit heavier as well.
Anyways there’s still official reports to come out for confirmation. Price is likely to hit over a lac.
Waiting to get hands on this beast.

I’ve got a Honda CBR 150 R and i’ts a very good motocycle with a very good engine of 149… cc / 4 valve / water cooled . only one problem is the tyres ! must change for michelin or bridgestone same size . carburator keihin is good but need to be tune , c.d.i need to be change and also exhaust system .

I have a cbr150 2007 model and i was wondering what its 0-100Kmph acceleration time is. i have gone 160kmph, but i’m not sure of the 0-100 time, i’m guessing about 8seconds, can anybody help me?

CBR 150 has been postponed upto next year, meanwhile you can try CBR 250 which would be priced under 2 lakhs for top end model, it will be in stores this summer.
